La production d'Epiphone est délocalisée au Japon en 1970, à l’usine Matsumoku.

La série de guitare ET fait partie de la première génération d’Epiphone fabriquée au Japon. D’abord nommée 1802T, le modèle connu aujourd’hui comme la ET-270 est rendu célèbre par Kurt Cobain dans ses début.

Ce modèle ne sera produit que 5 ans, de 1970 à 1975.

Cette belle Epiphone vintage a un corps off-set avec un burst rouge très vibrant. Elle a un manche 3-pièces en érable et une touche en palissandre.

Elle possède deux micros simple bobinage, pilotés par un switch 3 positions, un volume et une tone. Elle propose également un bass boost pour une grande polyvalence avec une couleur brillante, couplées d'une puissance et d'un impact important, qui la rend adaptée à de nombreux styles.

Elle est équipée d’un vibrato avec accastillage chromé. Elle est complètement originale mise à part la plaque du trussrod qui a été changée.

C’est une guitare qui vient de l’âge d’or de la lutherie japonaise, elle est extrêmement bien construite et son look particulier fait d’elle une pièce qui sort de l’ordinaire et de plus en plus recherchée par les amateurs de cette période.

The Epiphone ET serie is the first generation of guitars coming out of the Japanese factory. The model we are going to talk about was firstly named 1802T and it became the ET-270, which became famous thanks to Kurt Cobain, playing it at the beginning.

This beautiful vintage Epiphone has an off-set body with a vibrant cherry burst. She has a 3-pieces maple neck and a rosewood fretboard.

She has two single coil pickups, a 3 way switch, a volume and a tone pot as well as a bass boost switch. She is very polyvalent, giving bright and powerful tones, making her compatible with a lot of different styles.

She comes with a vibrato and chrome hardware.

She is completely original appart from the truss-rod cover.

It’s a piece from the Japanese craftsmanship golden era, being very well built and her peculiar look makes her uncommon and sought after by amateurs of this period.
